I think I see why people are so addicted to these various quizzes. Some of them are great, while others like that last one I posted are just plain stupid. I think we are motivated to take them because either we want validation of our own personality, are searching to find out who we really are, or when we are not truthful, we have a method with ( Read more... )

Why is it that advertisers lately have come up with the most unappetizing and perplexing ways to advertise food products to us?  Instead of long lingering shots of the product with some announcer saying things like "MMMMMMM!" in the background, we get things like this:
